Colombia's Foreign Minister Claudia Blum has resigned from her position, the ministry of foreign affairs announced on Thursday.
"I am grateful for the enormous confidence you placed in me when you named me for this important role," she said in a letter to President Ivan Duque.
Blum's resignation comes just over a week after Alberto Carrasquilla also stepped down from his position as the finance minister.
The developments come following widespread protests against a now-cancelled tax reform proposal fronted by President Duque.
The proposed tax reform would have raised sales taxes.
