Lotte chairman faces a suspended 20-month prison sentence

A Seoul court sentenced Lotte Group chairman Shin Dong-bin to 20 months in prison, with a two-year suspension, on Friday for corruption and breach of trust.

Shin Kyuk-ho, Shin Dong-bin's father and founder of the Lotte group, was sentenced on the same day to four years in prison for management irregularities at the Seoul Central District Court.
