One Chinese injured as tour bus hits bridge in Paris

At least four people were injured, including one Chinese national, when a double-decker tourist bus slammed into the Alexandre III bridge in Paris on Friday, according to local media.

The incident reportedly happened at around 1:00 p.m. local time (1100GMT) when a bus transporting 18 tourists got stuck under the Alexandre III bridge, French newspaper Le Parisien reported.

According to the fire authorities, four people were injured with one in critical condition. Xinhua news agency reported one Chinese tourist was among the injured.

The bus was not traveling on its usual route due to a road diversion, police said.
