Jagadeesh lives with his father and uncle in Bengaluru, India. They are a family of farmers whose sole income comes from agriculture and planting guava, tomatoes, and beans, for example. Since the COVID-19 outbreak in India, Bengaluru is on a lockdown that affects farmers and consumers citywide because nobody dares to go out. This situation worries Jagadeesh as he still needs to pay his workers, making him consider the possibility of taking loans from the banks to keep his business running while facing an uncertain future. "I don't know what will happen in the future," said Jagadeesh, adding helplessly: "we can't do anything anyway."
