At least 11 children were killed and 24 others injured when a blast hit a football ground in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi early Wednesday morning, reported local Urdu TV channel Geo.
According to the local media reports, the blast took place at about 2:40 a.m. local time when a bomb fixed on a motorbike went off at a football ground in the city's southern Lyari area.
People were leaving the play ground after a football match between two local teams of children when the blast occurred, said local media.
Most of the killed and wounded were children aged between 12 and 14, said the reports.
Javed Nagori, a member of the Sindh provincial assembly, who was the chief guest at the match, was also injured in the blast.

All the bodies and injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
Hospital sources said that some of the injured were in critical condition.
Bomb disposal squad officers said that an estimated five kg of explosives was used in the bomb which was detonated through a remote-controlled device.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
Wednesday is the second last day of Ramadam in Pakistan, the holy month of Muslims, during which local people usually stay up very late until early morning time.
