Myanmar military leader delivers speech about election

Myanmarmilitaryleader General Min Aung Hlaingsaidin a speech on Monday that the election commissionusedthe COVID-19pandemicas an excuse and did not allow for fair campaigning.

He called on the public to prioritize facts and not feelings, and said an election would be held and power passed on, adding that foreign policy would remain unchanged with countries encouraged to invest in Myanmar.
