He hopes this Belt and Road Initiative “will not only bring our people together but also enhance connectivity between our two countries.”

Suraj recently has married a local Beijing girl and the couple is trying to introduce original features of Nepali culture and handicrafts to China.

When talking about the future, Suresh emphasized the Belt and Road Initiative, a framework brought forward by Chinese President Xi Jinping aiming to facilitate trade, interpersonal connections and infrastructure development between China and many other countries.

He believed "the Belt and Road Initiative will be a great boost to Nepal in the future, because now Nepal is too reliant on just a few countries. If we have better roads or even railways connecting Nepal and China, our trade and tourism will greatly benefit from that."
