Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe arrived here on Monday to begin his four-day visit to Australia.
During his visit, Abe is expected to deliver a speech to the joint houses of Parliament on Tuesday, and meet with his Australian counterpart Tony Abbott.
He is also invited to attend a National Security Committee meeting.
Abe and Abbott are scheduled to sign the Japan-Australia Economic Partnership Agreement, a free trade deal reached by the two countries during Abbott's visit to Japan in April.
