Microsoft's founder Bill Gates remains the richest tech billionaire in the world, with personal net worth reaching $84.5 billion, followed by Amazon's CEO Jeff Bezos, and Facebook's founder Mark Zuckerberg, according to Forbes magazine's latest ranking of world's 100 richest tech billionaires.
Chinese business tycoon Jack Ma (Alibaba's founder) and Pony Ma (Tencent's founder) took the seventh and eighth spot on the list, respectively. Currently, the two men are competing for the title of the richest man in China.
The combined wealth of the top 100 has surpassed $1 trillion for the first time, said the magazine.
