The pandemic has created tremendous challenges for Brazil’s health care system. So the state of Sao Paulo created a ‘VolunteersRegistry’early on -to find people willing to helpfrontlineteams.
To date,about 1,300 people have registered and 300 of them have been placed in public hospitals around the state.
