Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Israel rise to 1,071

A total of 188 people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Israel on Sunday, bringing the country's total cases to 1,071, according to Israeli Ministry of Health.

Of the 314 patients being treated in hospitals across Israel, 18 are in serious condition and 30 in moderate condition.

Of the other 757 patients, one has died, 344 are treated in home quarantine, 97 in hotels converted into treatment facilities, 37 have recovered and the remaining 278 will be treated at home, hotel or hospital according to decisions to be made soon.
