Venezuela is working to speed up its vaccination campaign against COVID-19, as people across the country line up to get the limited number of doses available.

So far, the only vaccines available to people are from China and Russia.

Less than 1% of the population is fully vaccinated. People are waiting in long lines hoping for a chance to get a shot.

"We have 3 million doses in Venezuela, for around 28 million citizens. Let’s say we don’t vaccinate people under 18 years old. Even then, we’re 21 million. We still don’t have enough," said Huníades Urbina a member of Venezuela's Academy of Medicine.
