Buddhists throughout the world are celebrating Visakah Puja Wednesday. The full-moon day in May marks the birth, enlightenment and death of Gautama Buddha. The exact date varies depending on the lunar calendar and different traditions in different countries, and it is an extremely important day in the Buddhist tradition.
