Saudi Arabia registers 518 new COVID-19 cases, 6,380 in total

Saudi Arabia announced on Thursday the registration of 518 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections in the kingdom to 6,380, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The Ministry of Health spokesman Mohammed Al-Abdulaali said in the daily press brief that the kingdom registered also four coronavirus deaths to bring the death toll of the pandemic to 83.

The spokesman added that recoveries increased to 990 cases and 71 others are receiving intensive care.

Also on Thursday, the kingdom's COVID-19 Follow-up Committee held its 57th meeting, during which all relevant COVID-19 updates and reports were reviewed.
