Bangladesh's navy is still searching for 81 missing fishermen in the Bay of Bengal after Cyclone Mora devastated the region at the end of May. 63 fishermen were rescued from the waters.

The tropical storm hit the nearby Cox's Bazar area in the southeast on Tuesday, leaving at least six dead and forcing thousands of Muslim Rohingya to take refuge in shattered camps.

"Though the fishermen were rescued, most of the boats, the main instrument for our survival, are totally damaged and it is not possible to get them replaced quickly as we are not solvent," Mostaque Ahmed, head of the local Mechanized Fishing Boat Owners Association, told Reuters in an interview.

According to the Bangladeshi government, around 350,000 Rohingyas fled from neighboring Myanmar to avoid violent clashes with the military.
