Two blasts in Laukkai, Myanmar's northeastern Shan state, have destroyed a road linking Kunlon to Chinshwehaw, an official report said Monday.

Two mines planted in a drainage across the road exploded at the weekend, leaving a big hole there.

The blast site was temporarily closed cutting the traffic of the road, but it was opened later, the report added.

A day earlier, two artillery shells fell on a road near Hopaik village, the state's Lashio township, destroying two passenger buses and one truck.

Three people were also injured, earlier reports said. Enditem
