Arizona teachers protest reopening schools during pandemic

School districts in Arizonaaredivided over the decision to reopenas COVID-19 cases surge.

The state's governor has gone againstthe adviceof local health officials by calling on teachers to resume in-person teaching.

But teacher groups have organized “sick-outs” to protest the decision and refused to go back to classes.
