An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted 6km south of Santo Domingo Zanatepec, Mexico at 0440 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 97.24 km, was initially determined to be at 16.4222 degrees north latitude and 94.3471 degrees west longitude.
