Russian judge jails Kremlin foe Navalny for 30 days initially

A Russian judge on Monday ruled that Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny should be held in custody for 30 days until February 15, his spokeswoman said on Monday via social media, a day after he was detained upon his arrival in Moscow.

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny was detained on Sunday upon his arrival in Moscow from Germany, where he received medical treatment for alleged poisoning over the past months.
