A study conducted in the UK shows that men are more obedient to women at six pm. A scholar said the study makes scientific sense, yet still flawed to a certain extent.

The study involves 1000 participants. It also reveals that three pm is the moment that couples are more likely to quarrel, while one pm is the high time to ask employers for promotion or salaries up.

The person in charge of the study said people's moods vary according to secretion of their hormones, known as the "biological rhythms.

Wang Feixue, professor of Psychology at the Sun Yat Sen University, said the study is justifiable to a certain extent. However, since it is absent of more in depth supporting figures, such that those responses cannot be said to be resulted by "biological rhythms".

"Biological rhythms' influence over people differ according to their own physical nature. Someone are more disciplined while others are less. The former can better control their own behaviors, while the latter are more prone to external factors. Therefore, to apply the aforesaid conclusion, the environmental factors to the emotion should be excluded," said Wang.

Wang added that according to Social Psychological studies, one needs tactics to convince another, such as heaping praises before expressing requests, in order to make others feel obliged and say yes to what he asks for.
