Conjoined twins successfully separated at Italian hospital

Two conjoined twins with their skulls fused at the nape of their necks were successful separated at Babino Gesù pediatric hospital hospital in Rome after three risky surgeries. Sisters Prefina and Ervina survived “one of the rarest and most complex forms of cranial and cerebral fusion.”
