England enters second national lockdown in efforts to contain COVID-19

England has entered a second national lockdown in efforts to contain COVID-19. Bars, gyms, and non-essential shops will be closed for the next four weeks. 492 people have died within 28 days of testing positive for COVID-19, the highest since mid-May.
