Donald TrumpJr and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort have
reached a deal with the Senate Judiciary Committee to avoid appearing at
a public hearing next week, according to Reuters news agency.
Panel Chairman Chuck Grassley and ranking member Dianne
Feinstein said in a joint statement that theywould not immediately
subpoena President Trump's eldest son or his former campaign chairmanto
testify atthe Wednesday hearing but reserve the right to do so in the
future.

Donald Trump Jr, and his former campaign manager Paul Manafort were
initially determined to appear before the US congressional hearing next
week to offer testimony in response to allegations of colluding with
Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election.
