China said it is gravely concerned about the human rights violations in the U.S., the EU, the UK, Australia and Canada against the migrants and refugees.

A large number of abnormal deaths in the immigration detention centers are caused by a lack of basic services including food, water and medical supplies, said Jiang Duan, China’s senior official at the UN missions in Geneva.

“We are concerned in particular that the United States continued to separate families by forcibly pulling migrant children away from their parents. Many children ended up losing touch with their parents and families, which led to grave human tragedies.” Jiang stressed to the UN’s top human rights body.
