Expert: TCM and Western medicines have own uses in treating COVID-19

The traditionalChinese medicine(TCM) and Western medicine have their own strengths and weaknesses in regards to treatment of the COVID-19 cases, Du Bin, professor and doctor at the medical ICU of Peking Union Medical College Hospital said at a presser on Monday.

It's very hard for us to assess the efficacies of TCM from the point of view of western medicine, Du said, adding that they have different philosophies and evaluation systems for success.
