Two Chinese tourists found dead in hotel room in Nepal

Two Chinese nationals were found dead at Hotel View Point at Nagarkot, 32 km east of Kathmandu Friday morning, police said.

The dead have been identified as Chen Dan, 55, and See Hon Gan, 62. The police team is continuing further investigation in case, Metropolitan police said.

According to Dinesh Shrestha, the hotel owner, the hotel staff had to break the door of the room after the Chinese tourists didn' t show up at the reception in the morning.

Nine persons, including three Chinese, had stayed at the hotel since Thursday.

Nagarkot is a famous hill station in Bhaktapur, a satellite town of Kathmandu. It is one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur district and is renowned for its spectacular sunrise view of the Himalayan rage, including Mt.Qomolangma(Everest), the world's highest peak.
