Over 2,400 prosecuted for epidemic-related crimes in China

China's procuratorial organs prosecuted 2,416 suspects in 1,980 criminal cases related to the COVID-19 epidemic by Thursday, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said Friday.

Meanwhile, procuratorial organs across the country had approved the arrest of 3,517 suspects involved in such crimes, figures from the SPP show.
