Mayors for Myanmar's Yangon, Mandalay appointed

Myanmar's President U Htin Kyaw appointed mayors for the former capital of Yangon and the second largest city of Mandalay, the President's Office said on Tuesday.

U Maung Maung Soe was appointed as Yangon's mayor while Ye Lwin was named as Mandalay's mayor.

Earlier, U Phyo Min Thein and Zaw Myint Maung had been appointed as chief ministers of Yangon and Mandalay regions respectively. Enditem
