At least three killed after train derails in northern India

At least three people were killed and nine others injured after 13 coaches of a train derailed in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh on Friday, local media reports.

The train was travelling from Goa to Patna when the accident happened near Banda railway station at around 4:18 a.m. local time.

A rescue operation is ongoing.
