Burundian govt supports NPC decision to improve HK electoral system

The Burundian government on Thursday voiced support for the Chinese government after China's top legislature, the National People's Congress (NPC), adopted a decision on improving the electoral system of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

The African country also said in a statement that it believed the "One Country, Two Systems" is the best institutional arrangement for achieving stability, security, and prosperity in the HKSAR.
