This weekend,demonstrators plan to create a sea of orange across the U.S. to lobby for an end to gun violence.

They have the backing of President Joe Biden, the latest president to try to enact meaningful gun control legislation - especially on background checks.

But despite an escalation in mass shootings, most of Biden’s Republican opponents are not on board.
