On 16th June 2019, Hurricane’s Grill and Bar Beijing had their Grand Launch, located in Worker’s Stadium in the Chaoyang district of Beijing. This restaurant is the first of a structured roll out of restaurants throughout China. Matthew Brent (Australian Trade and Investment Commission), Nick Coyle (China-Australia Chamber of Commerce) and Craig and Laura Goldberg from Hurricane’s Grill Australia were on hand to celebrate the opening with over 100 guests attending the restaurant to celebrate this wonderful event.
Hurricane’s Grill was established in 1994 at Sydney’s famous Bondi Beach. The restaurant was styled to a similar concept of a South African steakhouse which Craig Goldberg, co-founder and owner of Hurricanes Corporate, was born into. The unique flavors of our famous sauce are a family secret and the original recipe is still made by Aubrey, the founder’s father. While Sydney remains their flagship, their focus has now moved international, with stores now open in Jakarta, Dubai and China.
Hurricanes Grill is proud to finally be bringing the Australian famous ribs and steak to China. We are thrilled to be opening in the Chaoyang district, close to the Beijing workers stadium. Steaks Ribs were and continue to be their specialty but it’s the secret sauce and unique cooking methods which set us apart. The famous sauce developed by our founder Craig’s father has been used for over 23 years. The restaurant is the 1st in a structured roll out of restaurants throughout China within the next 5 years.
