APD | Soleimani's daughter criticizes Trump, hailed by Iranians

Daughter of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani who was killed in a U.S. strike in Iraq last week criticized U.S. President Donald Trump by calling a “symbol of ignorance” on Monday, and the Iranian population hailed the outspoken lady, local media reported.

According to local reports, Zeinab Soleimani addressed millions of people who had crowded the streets of the Iranian capital of Tehran to mourn the martyrdom of his father.

She said, “Trump, Your plots to divide Iran and Iraq have created a historic bond between the two nations. Don’t think that the killing of my father will finish everything.”

She further said, “My father was the greatest man in the strategy of calculating the power and behavior of the enemy.”

Millions of people chanted slogans against the United States and hailed Soleimani’s daughter for delivering a very logical speech at the time of test and sadness.

Later on Monday, Ali Shamkhani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), said that Iran will show harsh revenge for the assassination of Soleimani in practice.

Shamkhani said, “Our response to this crime will definitely be military, however it will not be limited to the military.”
