Lawson brace gives Shandong 113-103 win over Guangsha

Ty Lawson scored 16 of his 31 points in the last quarter to lead Shandong to a 113-103 home win over Guangsha, leading the team 3-2 in the 2017-18 CBA best-of-seven semifinals on Friday.

Guangsha center Ioannis Bourousis got the drop step for a hoop and tied it at 23 in the first quarter.

Ding Yanyuhang set his feet to can a triple as the Golden Stars led by 6, and the two-time domestic league MVP fired away after recess as the led swells to double digits.

Ding Yanyuhang leaves the game with a leg injury after he finishes 27 points in the Game 5.

Guangsha's International MVP Courtney Fortson did not play well, managing just 11 points, turning the ball over 4 times.

Motiejunas stretched the lead to 12 with a trey – a game high 35 for the Lithuanian. Ding nailed 5 triples on the night as the lead stretched to 17, but left the game with a leg injury as he finished 27 points tonight.

Lawson picked up the slack in the fourth Q, hitting the stepback jumper. He scored 16 of his 31 points in the final period.

Shandong won it 113-103 and led the series 3 games to 2. They can wrap up the series with a win on Tuesday.
