Dominican Republic's president applauds Chinese vaccine

The President of Dominican Republic Luis Abinader spoke highly of the COVID-19 vaccine from China's Sinovac during a press conference on Monday introducing the government's vaccination program.

Abinader said the vaccine is of high efficacy and is expected to arrive by the end of February.

Frontline workers will be the first in line for the Caribbean island country's vaccination rollout.
