6.0-magnitude quake hits off Papua New Guinea -- USGS

An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted 193 km south of Taron, Papua New Guinea, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Monday.

The epicenter, with a depth of 5.67 km, was initially determined to be at 6.1934 degrees south latitude and 152.7351 degrees east longitude.
