The stadium the Texas Rangers play in was packed for a Major League Baseball game on Monday. The stadium reportedly sold over 38,000 tickets. Texas mask mandates were lifted in March and businesses are operating at 100 percent. Evidence suggests shouting and crowded spaces can further spread COVID-19.

Other MLB teams opened their stadiums as well, but many with restrictions. New York’s Yankee Stadium only allowed entry to those with the vaccine or negative PCR test. The Rays, located in Florida sold out of their limited 9,000 distanced pod seats for Friday’s game.
