12 missing in cargo ship collision in south China

At least 12 sailors are missing after two cargo ships collided off the coast of south China’s Guangdong Province.

The accident took place at around 3:00 a.m. local time on Monday. Thirteen people have been rescued, according to officials.

A search and rescue operation is underway, and an investigation into the cause of the accident has been opened.
