Sydney Opera House lights up in honor of Aboriginal art

A light show has been wowing visitors at the Sydney Opera House in honor of the art of Australia's indigenous people.

The show titled Badu Gili or "water light" in the language of the Gadigal people is a seven-minute art installation projected on the eastern sail of the opera house.

The show runs for seven minutes from sunset each day with mixed music and images to celebrate time-honored stories of Australia’s First Nations' culture.

The light show features five of Australia's most eminent First Nation artists including the late Minnie Pwerle and Lin Onus. The music was composed by Damian Robinson.

The art installation started on Wednesday and will run every evening at sunset year-round.
