M5.4 quake hits Taiwan: CENC

A magnitude 5.4 earthquake jolted Taitung County in eastern Taiwan at 11:24 a.m. Sunday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter, with a depth of 40 kilometers, was monitored at 23.29 degrees north latitude and 121.60 degrees east longitude, said the CENC.
