Enhanced security measures throughout Washington D.C. after the violent January 6 storming of the Capitol and ahead of Inauguration Day Wednesday has left the otherwise bustling streets empty and barren Monday. The National Mall is shut down and closed off to the public, and 25,000 National Guard Troops are on patrol.
