Six people were shot Sunday night in the Houston area in U.S. state of Texas, during a shooting possibly between two families, local media reported Monday.
The shooting happened around 9:15 p.m. Sunday in Bonners Park, around 43 km west of Houston.
Harris County Sheriff's Office Captain Joe Ambriz told local TV station KPRC that a man grabbed a shotgun and fired birdshot. Then another man pulled out a pistol and shot back. Six people were shot, including a five-year-old girl.
KPRC quoted Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez as saying "very preliminary info: members from two families possibly open fire on one another."
The victims, in unknown condition, were transported to hospital.
