China urges US to drop Cold War mentality

China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said during Wednesday’s regular press conference that the common interests between China and US far outweigh the differences and urged the US to drop their Cold War mentality and outdated zero-sum game beliefs.

This follows US President Donald Trump’s first State of the Union, which listed China and Russia as rivals.
