For this edition of Dialogue Weekend show, we have a special session with a focus on the high-level talks between China and the U.S. in Anchorage, Alaska. After a tense opening between officials from both sides, the two got down to business. But with so many differences, were there any positives to take away from the talks? And with a new president in the White House, how can the two sides deal with the many challenges the relationship faces? For a deeper look, we’ve invited Huang Jing, Dean of the Institute of International and Regional Studies at Beijing Language and Culture University; Benoit Hardy-Chartrand, Adjunct Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at Temple University Japan; and Einar Tangen, Independent Current Affairs Commentator.
