NBS: China's Consumer Price Index up 1.6% in Sept.

China’s Consumer Price Index, which measures inflation rate based on prices of a basket of consumer goods, was up by 1.6 percent in September, according to data released by China’s National Bureau of Statistics on Monday morning.

The Producer Price Index, which reflects price changes of commodities, had increased by 6.9 percent year-on-year, according to the NBS.
