Aerial shot of Paulownia blossoms in central China's Henan

On April 17, 2020, the Paulownia flowers in Lancao County in central China's Henan Province were in their peak bloom. Hundreds of Paulownia trees with flowers formed beautiful pink clouds in the aerial shot pictures.

Lancao County is one of the places of origin of the Paulownia. The plant could be found in many parts of East and Southeast Asia. Paulownia has strong roots and great ability to absorb harmful gases, as it also has beautiful trunk and flowers, it is widely grown in China as a street tree. The Paulownia trees in Lancao County have played a role in combating local desertification.
