In the face of the COVID-19 outbreak, China’s top alcohol brand Kweichow Moutai Group has sent a very important signal by pledging to keep its “plans, tasks, targets and incomes” unchanged for 2020.

The core of the commitment lies in production and sales. At the beginning of 2020, Moutai set a revenue target of 110 billion yuan (about 16 billion U.S. dollars) and a net-profit target of 50.5 billion yuan (7.3 billion U.S. dollars), both with a 10-percent year-on-year rise. It plans to sell 34,500 tons of Moutai spirits in 2020, with around 2,000 tons in overseas markets.

Moutai is now working hard both at epidemic prevention and at production. Thanks to its network, industrial chain and planning, Moutai has the strength and confidence to deliver on its promise.
