Wang Yi to visit Africa during first new year trip

Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will pay an official visit to Eritrea, Kenya and Comoros from January 4 to 7, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said on Thursday.

Wang will then visit the Maldives and Sri Lanka, Zhao said.
