Hosted by Jeon So Mi, Tak Jae Hoon, and Super Junior's Heechul this year, the Seoul Music Awards is an annual ceremony that recognises the outstanding achievements of the Korean music industry. The winners are determined by a somewhat complicated voting system that involves calculating fan votes (20% of total), Sports Seoul's popularity poll (10% of total), digital downloads and album sales (40% of total), and judge scores (30% of total).
