DAZHANCHANG TOWN, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- Jing Huaiqin, 52, is a farmer living in Dazhanchang Town of Zhongning County, northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

Dazhanchang Town is a relocation area for ecological immigrants. Jing moved here in 2000 from uninhabitable mountain areas in Guyuan.

Thanks to the unique soil and climatic conditions, the goji berry industry has become a key for migrants to lift themselves out of poverty.

Famous for its fine goji berries, Ningxia had planted over 66,667 hectares of goji berries by the end of 2019.

The region has established standard farming techniques to control the use of pesticides, improve the qualities of the berries and develop new products.

Goji products from Ningxia have been exported to 30 countries and regions including United States, European Union, Japan and Australia.
